Hello sweetheart.
You might be wondering where I live or hang-out, when I'm not raisng hell that is. You know where I raise hell, don't you? (wicked grin). Did i tell you that I'm an architecture buff? Yup, I'm a frustrated architect. Alas I had to pursue a course in business due to the dictates of my duties as an heir. Gotta take care of the business. But I haven't really given up my dream of being an architect. In fact, since I've got the resources, I like collecting houses of unique forms. I have several homes in Europe and in the US. I have one in the Carribean, several locally and uhm I purchased an island in Palawan years back and I have a chateau there, too. I have also inherited (sometimes reluctantly) several properties from my folks and grandparents in the provinces of Batangas and Tarlac. I have several condos in Manila. They serve more as investments rather than amusement. But where do I really live? Hmm, that's hard to tell because I'm sort of a nomad. I hate permanence and monotony. BUT, I do have houses which I can call home, respectable ones, mind you, courtesy of my stepmother Maristella Las Marias and my grandparents on the mother side. Maris told me she'd give me her house one day. I think I have enough houses for ten families. Ups, no pun intended, father.

My mother was the only child of my grandparents Don Nicholas Allende and Dona Elena Allende y Vera Cruz. I inherited this house below when mother died. But my grandparents still live there. I stay there twice a month. Naglalambing kasi ang mga matatanda. Pinagbibigyan ko naman. I spent my early years here till I got exiled in Greece shortly after the EDSA revolution. Thaz a long story and this is not the right page to tell it. Anyway, this Classic mediterranean mansion is located in Forbes Park, too.

My grandparents have an hacienda in Batangas, near the Del Bianco estate. It's called Hacienda Elena. Kit del Bianco is my bestfried and we grew up together. I now manage the estate and all its financial interests. This house below is Villa Ellinor, the Allende ancestral house, but I had it renovated recently, extend the original rectangular main structure and add more out-buildings because I frequently use this to entertain guests.

I like Batangas and its beaches. Hacienda Allende is a plantation and its situated away from the sea. But I love the waters. I like to jetski, to race on my speedboat and to windsurf. So when a property became available in Calatagan, a seaside province in Batangas, I bought a twenty-hectare stretch of beachfront property. Its my vacation hideaway in the Luzon area so I wanted a very rustic architecture, a relaxing, back to the basics kinda atmosphere. I chose Aztec/Mexican Pueblo design for this place. Man, I love it here. Check it out.

Now, my Palawan island...
You wouldn't believe how cheap I got this one. Palawan has hundreds of small islands dotting the perimeter of the mainland and when I visited Nico's paradise called the Temptress Island, well, I wanted my own too. A sort of hideaway when you don't want anybody locating you right away. I've named it Isle Yandra only 'coz the little brat hounded me until I agreed. No, actually I lost a bet with her and I had to name this island after her. It ryhmes with her name daw. She forgets her place, that little witch. She's cute...but not cute enough to lead me by the nose, because no woman ever would.

When in the city, I don't like gigantic houses. Well, I have no choice with my folks' digs but personally, I like open spaces, modernist architecture and minimalist interior. I love taking nature into my house so no drapes for me. Bring in the sun and the moon anytime.
